What is it?

From my own tapestry of experiences, I've come to see Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as the heartbeat of our collective story. As the President of the city of South Bend Inclusive Procurement Board, I've had the privilege of championing diversity at its very core, ensuring that opportunities are inclusive and justly distributed.

Diversity for me is our colorful mosaic, each shade and pattern reflecting myriad backgrounds, cultures, and voices.

Equity isn’t just about leveling the playing field; it's about acknowledging the unique journeys we each travel, ensuring that every step taken is on a fair and just path.

Inclusion the part where all the pieces come together in a harmonious dance. It's not just about open doors, but open hearts and minds, making sure every voice is cherished and amplified.
